Chapter Vice President
of Administration
The role of the NMA chapter secretary or vice president of administration is
very important in chapter operations. Records are the written history of
chapter communications. Current NMA policies, needs and objectives are
communicated to the chapter through the VP of Admin. Planning for such
responsibility requires careful examination of chapter records and files to
become familiar with systems and procedures practiced in the past.
For our chapter, the office of Vice President of Administration is a One (1) year
term. The following are the Duties of the Chapter VP of Admin:
- Sign all written contracts of the Chapter (with the President) as
authorized by the Board of Directors.
- Assure membership records are maintained via the Member Relations
Committee.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Awards and Recognition Committee.
Additional information is available in the NMA Chapter Secretary's
Training Guide. Secretary training is also available during Chapter
Management Conferences (CMC).
