VAN KUREN CHAPTER OFFICER,

and CHAIRPERSON MEETING MINUTES

25 August 1998


Attendees: Raelynn Bryan, Billye Geisinger, Darlene Routhier

  1. National Convention: A requirement was sent out for all interested individuals to put together the 1556 and have them to Raelynn, who will consolidate them into one package for CC signature. We hope to send more than one person since it is in Cincinnati estimate 5 or 6.

  2. Mr Benson located an article about fund raising on base and we will look into how we can legally sponsor events to raise money for NMA.

  3. All officers have been approved to attend a one day session on Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. We are looking forward to attending.

  4. Professional Development: Supervisory Management Skills Program and Advanced Management Skills Program will start up again in Oct.

  5. Membership Drive: Still looking for more renewals. We will send out another note on membership. Need to have all dues in before the end of Sep.

  6. The next program will be in Sep on Mentoring by Betsy Witt.

  7. Need to get the publicity on selection of Manager of the Year out to the Spokesman, Skywriter, and local paper of Mr Weddles town.
