Van Kuren Chapter

Chapter Goals

  1. Provide services and opportunities for personal professional development of all personnel to include, but not be limited to, Supervisory and Management Skills Program, Advanced Management Studies Programs, and monthly ongoing workshops, specifically targeting current and future leaders of the organization.

  2. Promote NMA in NAIC by conducting "NMA Days" concentrating on increasing the participation of NAIC's workforce in the Chapter's activities.

  3. Conduct classes to prepare members for the Certified and Associate Certified Managers exams.

  4. Publish the Chapter newsletter for distribution to members and the NAIC workforce.

  5. Expand the Chapter's role in the local community by promoting and recognizing leadership as a profession together with management accomplishments, such as American Free Enterprise, Management Week in America, etc.

  6. Emphasize the benefits to be gained through NMA development training.

  7. Update, for currency, Chapter Web Page as required.

  8. Submit articles for publication in the NMA "MANAGE" magazine.

  9. Conduct the American Free Enterprise Speech Contest at the Chapter level.

  10. Develop a marketing tool to promote the advantages of becoming an NMA member.
