Board of Directors Meeting Minutes - 16 June 1998

1. As outgoing Chairman of the Board, Shirley Harris, gave an overview of what we've accomplished.
   • How best to be an asset to NMA and NAIC
   • Updated NMA briefing and it is ready to present to NAIC Commander
   • Examining how to market what we are and what we can do throughout NAIC

2. Brief report on the 15 Jun 98 Reinvent NMA meeting. At that meeting J. Finley presented a problem involving computers and software which is universal throughout agencies, corporations, intelligence organizations, etc. Proposal was made for NMA to start research on the problem and use our national connections to make a dent in this problem.

3. The incoming board was briefed on duties and functions.

4. Mr Bartlett sketched the mode of operation for the Board and Chairman. Amazing input.

5. Mr Bill Bartlett was elected as Chairman of the Board for the 19981999 NMA fiscal year.

6. Mr Kent Bierley volunteered to be a Board facilator or creative advisor. The new board will let him know.

7. Meeting was adjourned.
