1. The NMA board met at 1400 on Monday, 25 August, 1997.
2. Annoucement: Tomorrow is Monthly NMA Mtg, 1300, E177 (Auditorium) Demonstration/Workshop with methods for redesigning organizations or designing new organizations. Leader = Stu Cart.
3. Membership Dues due by 27 August, 1997. Please pay Bill Bartlett.
4. Select of Board Chair - Shirley Harris voted Chair of Board.

6. Meeting Schedule Revision: Still plan Board Meetings on the second Tuesday of the month, but have time from 1400-1500.
7. Discussed NMA national expressed intent to withold 96/97 awards due to dues late to national in late 96. Decided to:
   • Send letter with rationale appealing awards decision,
   • pay dues collected/available by the 1 Sept '97 due date.
8. Next Meeting: Tuesday, 9 Sept, 1997, 1400-1500, Rm 8144
   Agenda:
   • Revise/update chapter goals. Use current goals and Wright Chapter's as an example.
   • Look at future planning for chapter Web Page.
   • What is status of Chapter Newsletter.
