The highlights of this report are:

Seen at Aullwood Audubon Center on December 26th were Hermit Thrush, Belted Kingfisher, Carolina Wren, Eastern Towhee, and Red-bellied and Downy Woodpecker.
Double-crested Cormorant, Common Loon, and Bonaparte's and Ring-billed Gull were seen at Caesar Creek Lake on December 25th.
On December 25th, Peregrine Falcon was observed in downtown Dayton. Seen on the Great Miami River within the city were Hooded Merganser, Pied-billed Grebe, Lesser Scaup, and Black Duck. Seen at Eastwood Lake were Ruddy Duck, Lesser Scaup, Common Goldeneye, and American Coot.
Observed on December 25th at Englewood MetroPark were innumerable Canada Geese and Mallards.
Seen on December 22nd at Englewood MetroPark were American Wigeon, Northern Pintail, Green-winged Teal, Black Duck, Great Blue Heron, and Ring-billed Gull.
Seen on December 21st at Dayton International airport were flights of Sandhill Cranes, while Hermit Thrush and Belted Kingfisher were seen at Englewood MetroPark.
Dayton Audubon's annual Christmas Bird Count will be held on Sunday, December 30th. All are welcome. Consult the details in The Yellow Warbler.
