Subject: Caesar Creek Spring Valley Christmas Bird Count Greetings everyone, Mark your calendars! The 3nd annual Caesar Creek / Spring Valley Christmas Bird Count is upon us again. We have set the date as Friday, December 14, 2007. Please note that this is a change from our first two years when we scheduled the count on Thursday. We have again selected a weekday to avoid counting during the duck hunting season, sorry to those of you who can't get off work. For early risers we will look and listen for owls at 6 a.m. We will regroup at the Visitor Center at 8:30 a.m. break into teams and search for waterfowl and songbirds. At 1 p.m. we will meet at the Visitor Center for a hot lunch (free) sponsored by the Friends of Caesar Creek. For more information call 513-897-1050. Please reply to this e-mail if you'd like to participate (also let me know if you'd be willing to lead a group of birders). I would like to request that those returning for another year of the count continue to cover the areas they have covered in previous years. Of course, if you have a preference for a location or a team just let me know. Thanks.
