AS OF NOVEMBER 14, THE DAS MEETING/PROGRAM SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21 AT WEGERZYN GARDEN CENTER HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

The highlights of this report are:

  • Sandhill Cranes

Observed on November 15th and prior days near Lightner Rd. were Northern Harrier, Screech Owl, Eastern Phoebe, and Eastern Bluebird.

On November 15th Hooded Merganser and Bufflehead were seen at Englewood MetroPark.

Sandhill Cranes were observed flying over the Sugarcreek Reserve area on November 14th.

Common Merganser, Wood Duck, Pied-bill Grebe, Great Blue Heron, and Green-winged Teal were observed at Englewood MetroPark on November 13th.

Osprey continue to be seen in the area.
