The highlights of this report are:

On April 8th seen at Englewood MetroPark were Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Winter Wren, Yellow-throated Warbler, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, and Field and Song Sparrow.
Palm Warbler and Ruby-crowned Kinglet were seen at Woodland Cemetery on April 7th.
On April 7th at Spring Valley Wildlife Area, seen were Swamp Sparrow, Marsh Wren, Red-shouldered Hawk, and Purple Finch, while Sora were heard.
On April 7th, seen near Ansonia were American Golden Plover, Pectoral Sandpiper, Horned Lark, and Tundra Swan.
Observed at Spring Valley Wildlife Area on April 5th were first-of-the-season Northern Rough-winged Swallow and Winter Wren.
On April 5th, the Dayton Audubon Society Walk at Aullwood Gardens recorded 25 species including Red-shouldered Hawk, Brown Thrasher, Eastern Phoebe, Eastern Bluebird, Tree Swallow, and Winter Wren.
