The highlights of this report are:
  • Snow Bunting
  • Eastern Meadowlark
  • Sandhill Crane

On February 19th, seen on Houston Rd. near Cornstalk Rd. were Snow Bunting, Lapland Longspur, Horned Lark, Brown-headed Cowbird, and Eastern Meadowlark. Houston Rd. runs North just past the gravel pit on Roxanna-New Burlington Rd.

On February 19th Fox, White-crowned, and White-throated Sparrow were observed at the feeders at Spring Valley Wildlife area.

On February 19th, twelve Sandhill Cranes, Northern Harrier, and Belted Kingfisher were seen at the gravel pit on Roxanna-New Burlington Rd.

Horned Lark were observed on Old Springfield Rd. opposite Englewood MetroPark north park.
