The highlight of this report is:

A pair of BALD EAGLES is building a nest in Englewood MetroPark. The birds can be seen from River Rd. between Martindale Rd. and the western entrance to the park. The MetroPark staff has expanded the viewing area for more safe viewing. Remember to respect the admonition not to trespass any closer to the nest as this may cause the abandonment of the nest.
On March 12th, HOODED MERGANSERS were seen at Englewood MetroPark North park; while RUDDY, RING-NECKED, and BLACK DUCKS were observed at the main park, and YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER, EASTERN PHOEBE, RED-TAILED HAWK, and SONG SPARROW were observed at Aullwood Gardens.
On March 11th, flocks of RED-WINGED BLACKBIRDS were seen at Englewood MetroPark North park.
On March 10th seen at Englewood MetroPark were REDHEAD, RING-NECKED DUCK, and BROWN CREEPER.
BUFFLEHEAD were seen at Englewood MetroPark on March 9th.
On March 5th KILLDEER were observed at Aullwood Gardens.
