Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm
Aullwood is an environmental education center in western Ohio, whose goal is to promote the protection of birds, other wildlife, and the habitats on which they depend. It is an Audubon Center of the National Audubon Society.

Beaver Creek Wetlands Association

Caesar Creek Lake

The Ohio Ornithological Society

An excellent guide to birding in Ohio, and includes many links to information about birding in the rest of the U. S., Canada, and around the world. Also provides access to information about the Ohio Bird Records Committee.

Birdingonthe.Net
Doorway to a world of birding information. Contains an extensive list of links to birding information listed geographically by country and/or continent, and further subdivided by state, province, etc. as appropriate. Also links to information on birds grouped by family, articles and publications on birds, and listings of books, software and trip reports.

Electronic Resources on Ornithology
Another excellent list of links to birding information divided geographically by country or continent. Somewhat similar to Birdlinks above, but different enough to be worth exploring.

Birding on the Web
Good birding and environmental information. Contains links to a number of bird checklists, including the Sibley/Monroe world list (149K compressed, 637K uncompressed), a lower-48 states list, some individual state lists, a few foreign country lists, and lists for many of the U. S. national parks. Also links to information on birding sites in a number of U. S. states, and some foreign countries. Some bird photographs are also included.

AUDUBON
Home page for The National Audubon Society. Covers the mission, policies, and activities of the Society; links to internal and external Web pages for more than 170 of the 500+ local Audubon chapters; a short biography of John James Audubon; and information on joining the Society.

American Birding Association (ABA)
Web site for North America's largest membership organization for active birders. Information about ABA activities, publications, membership benefits, and an online catalog of bird books, checklists, optical equipment, and other birding accessories, with prices and ordering information.

Nature Compass
"Appreciating Syzygy: Emily Dickinson, Hog Island, and NASA"
Tom Schaefer, 1981 Dayton Audubon scholarship recipient, writes about some unexpected connections between the Hog Island Audubon Camp and significant people in American culture. In this essay he reflects on his own transcendent first trip to the Audubon Camp and the island's connections to the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge at the Kennedy Space Center. The connection? A world famous birder, of course!

Black Swamp Bird Observatory
An independent non-profit organization dedicated to wildlife research,conservation, and educational programs for the public.

Ohio Young Birders Club
A club for young birders between the ages of 12 to 18, sponsored by the Black Swamp Bird Observatory(BSBO)

B-W Greenway
An organization dedicated to developing and implementing strategies to preserve and promote natural corridors between the Beaver Creek and Wenrick Wetlands as a link in the Greater Dayton Greenbelt.
