The highlight of this report is:

  • Wild Turkey at Englewood MetroPark.

Wild Turkeys are being seen early in the day at Englewood MetroPark.  Regular sightings of Solitary, Spotted, Least, and Pectoral Sandpiper; Semipalmated Plover, Lesser Yellowlegs, Short-billed Dowitcher, Killdeer and Great Blue Heron are being observed at the Englewood MetroPark lagoon.

 

The Englewood MetroPark North park regular sightings include Blue Grosbeak, Green Heron, Yellow Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, Indigo Bunting,; Song and Field Sparrow; Barn and Tree Swallow; Chimney Swift, Willow Flycatcher, Eastern Kingbird and Black-billed Cuckoo.
