The highlight of this report is:

  • Lark Sparrow

On June 10th, 23 species were seen at Oakes Quarry Park including LARK, FIELD, and SONG SPARROW; TREE SWALLOW, ACADIAN FLYCATCHER, BLUE GROSBEAK, SPOTTED SANDPIPER, KILLDEER, COMMON YELLOWTHROAT, COOPER'S HAWK, and RED-WINGED BLACKBIRD.
Oakes Quarry Park is reached by taking the Rt 235 exit off of IR 675 and proceeding east to the first driveway on the left.

A FORSTER'S TERN was observed at Englewood MetroPark north park on June 8th.
